Knicks Jr. NBA Day
Today I went and checked out a Jr.NBA event or the first time. The little kids were so ecstatic and full of energy as soon as they burst through the doors. They split each child up individually according to age and grade level. From the mini ballers to BIG ballers, they executed every drill to perfection. Just to see the smiles on their faces made me even more happier that I could be there to document it. Knicks Legend Larry Johnson attended the event signing autographs and taking pictures for Knicks fans both old and young ... I even told him how big of a fan my dad was of him back in the day :) #prouddaughter. This event showed me how much it means to give back to your community whether it's before, during or after your professional career ... There are still people who idolize you. After the clinic was over they were handing out bookbags and they gave me one !!!! I felt like a kid in the CANDY STORE ... Even though I have a million NBA bags.
