UNIVERSITY OF CONNECTICUT VS. SOUTH CAROLINA (79-97)

Close your eyes and imaging sitting on the Baseline 10 Minutes Before both teams take the main stage. The acoustics from the arena is caving in on the floor and all you can hear is UCONN ......... HUSKIES ..... UCONN HUSKIES ... the fans are ranging from current students to recent grads, to old time alumni. I've never seen anything like it ... the chants, the fans, level of intensity before the game even started.

As I was sitting on the baseline waiting for the right moment to capture a video I noticed people crowding around the far right tunnels ... BEHOLD the UCONN Huskies women basketball Team came storming behind following the cheerleaders and the UCONN /huskies infamous Flag Man ... You would have thought you were at a WNBA Game. As the Warm Up clock starts winding down I couldn't help but notice UCONN and their very articulate warm up strategy ... I'm talking about constant moving, constant passing ... moving without the ball, cross court passing ... hitting shots from the different spots around the perimeter, inside the paint. THUMBS UP GENO!

As I glanced away from the warmups I couldn't help but notice that I was in the Presence of 2 Women Basketball Head Coaches who is the GOAT! Geno Auriema and University of South Carolina's Head Coach Dawn Staley ... I'm telling you WHAT A SIGHT! you literally had to be there! As the warm up clock stopped the Girls were getting ready for the starting lineups and surprisingly when they were announcing the Away team ... the Announcer was very upbeat (usually when you are the away team its quick and non exciting). But then when it was the Home Teams turn all the lights turned out in the arena and all you can see is the season's highlights on the jumbo iron and man was it exciting! The Steals, And 1's, Team Passing and ALL! That's just an idea of how the Arena Gets! filled to capacity.
